In June of 2007 we spent 10 days in Italy with our friends Beth & Lou Krefski.

         
The itinerary was basic and fairly open: fly to Rome, rent a car and drive to the hills east of Florence where we rented an apartment in a farmhouse as our base of operations for a week.  The following Saturday, we dropped the rental car in Florence and trained it back to Rome for a few days before coming home.
