Busy schedules make for revisions to holiday customs.

 
Where as we used to share finger food in front of the fireplace with Ann's folks on Christmas Eve, the last few years they've come over for lunch instead.   This year, we went simple and fresh:  Crab Cakes with remoulade sauce and a watercress salad with roasted tomato dressing.
